From Glory to Glory Pt 2

How can we glorify God? When God is the epitomy of good. By definitin God is glory. We're looking to show God's glory to other. We want to recognize God's glory, we're not adding to it.

Psalms 63:1-3 - "O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; To see they power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary. Because they lovingkindness  better than life, my lips shall praise thee." We're going to acknowledge it, and share it.

Glorifying God is the basis, the foundation to many verses in the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

The first thing to glorify God we can do is to praise Him. We should say, Amen, hallelujah,  or even thank you, Jesus in public places. Praise God cause we're able to worship and praise His holy name. We're in the day where people don't want you to praise Him but we should be lifting our voices and hands in praise. Thanking Jesus for His sacrifice, thanking God for sending His son to save us. Because God is glory,  He shows us how to spend eternity with Him. But we need to be lifting our hands and voices to praise Him.

So many times, worship or praise is taken out of context. But it's the Holy Spirit that's moving inside you. It's doesn't matter where or when we are, we should be able to thank HIm and praise Him.

John 14:12-13 - "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greated works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

Another way to glorify - we say it all the time - Praying in the name of Jesus, is another way to glorify God. He says "Son not sun."  You can pray in His name and that is power and God is glorified. When we pray in Jesus' name, that is power. Not only do we have the power and authority when we pray "in Jesus' name," we're glorifying the Father.

We got to have the faith that Jesus is saying this to us. He tells us to have the faith. To pray to God in His name. Pray to the Father through the Son.

It has become and afterthought, 'Oh, in Jesus name,' but there's power.

John 15:7-9 - "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in your, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you; continue ye in my love."

We need to produce spiritual fruit. What's the word of God? The Bible. We have to plant those words in your heart, mind and soul for God to be glorified. It's always back to the love; the love of God, the love of Christ. We can share the good news message without being behind the pulput. Plant the seed in others and you will be producing much fruit of the glory of God.

It's not Kyle that gets the glory, it's not you, it's God that gets the glory.

There's not a person on this earth that deserves to be praised like Jesus. There's not a person in this world that deserves to be glorified like God the Father.

So many times we get caught up in the ways of the world but we should be putting God first to glorify Him.

We need to be peaceful among the unbelievers. You can do 99 things right 99% of the time, but it's the 1 thing 1% of the time that Satan will show that one. But if what you're doing is for the glory of God, then God will lift your soul up.

1 Peter 2:12 - "having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as eveildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation."

By your testimony, your walk, how you act as a christian, other will come to know God if you are speaking and acting how God says to behave. Then God will be glorified. Be an honest person. When God comes home and the evildoers are still doing what evildoers do, Jesus will know.

Living a life in God's glory isn't living a life in church just onSunday's but every other day of the week too. Satan loves us to fail, but through God's glory you will not fail.

Matthew 5:16 - "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

God gets the glory when we're doing something right and even when we do something wrong. Because God will turn the wrong into something right down the road. Put others first in your life and God will get the glory

When we're persecuted, God gets the glory.

1 Peter 4:14-16 - "If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."

God will ALWAYS be there when you're persecuted, bullied, not where you're meant to be; God is there.

Be thankful for the love of God. Be not shameful. It's hard when we're struggling and in a valley, but if we can , when we're strugglinig, just imagine how sweet the mountain tops will be. Jesus stays with us through the storms.

We have an Almighty God. We need to glorify Him.
