From Glory to Glory

2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Exodus 33:18-23

We take the glory of God lightly. But we should do all things for the glory of God. Moses asked to see God's glory. No one can handle to see God's true form, but God is everywhere. All we have to do is look; look with an open mind and an open heart.

When Moses asked God to show the way for the people of Egypt to flee to, God sent an angel to clear the way. But Moses had a relationship with God, so close that he could ask to be shown the glory of God. God is the epitomy of goodness. God said, he would show His goodness. He said, "I will make all my goodness pass before thee."

God is good in ALL WAYS!

There are so many false idols, demons, and devils that people worship but it can't hold a candle to the glory of God. We don't need to pur any feathers in God's hat. He is glorified. All creatures hold true to God's glory, from the crawling ant to the mighty lion.

We don't realize how many people look at us as Christians and compare us to the glory of God. The Old and New Testaments tells us how to appreciate the glory of God. Everything we do should be done to the glory of God. When you're afraid to shed light on your sins, you're not glorifying God.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink or whatsoever ye dom do all to the glory of God."

We should be giving God the glory in everything we do.

Moses had so much faith in God that he asked for God to show the way so he could find grace is God's sight. Moses asks God to show them the way, he appreciated the angel but he wanted God to be with His people and show the way to the promise land.

Moses had to keep going to God to make intersession for the complaints of the people. Jesus still makes intersession for us. We all have 'woe is me' moments, but we need to remember to glorify God. We don't thank God enough for everything that He sends our way.

Sin will callus you to not really appreciate the glory of God. You have to remove the sin to brighten your eyes and truly appreciate what God does for us. You do this on your knees in prayer.

Jesus justified us with His blood, but we don't appreciate the sacrifice He made for our sakes. When we have a great relationship with God, and we ask for His favor, He will answer our prayers. God can move mountains with your faith. God can do anything. But we havee to have the faith that Moses did and ask for these things.

When you pray, you have to believe in your heart that God can change circumstances in your life. But if you have doubt in your heart, He won't change anything. Jesus is the only person to walk the earth that ever did anything to glorify God. He is perfect. We need to bring all our problems, financial,  physical, psychological to Christ. We need to have the faith that He can fix these problems.

The great light of God is too Holy for our human eyes to behold.

Exodus 33:20-23 - "And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is  a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock; And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee wit my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts; but my face shall not be see."

God made preparations for Moses to see what he could handle of His glory. God knows what we all can handle and what we can't He gives us glimpses of His glory.

That's what God does, He gives us exactly what we need, when we need it. He wants to share His glory, to give you blessings, to give you His grace. So when He knocks, open the door.
