1 Timothy 2:11-15

Paul is peaking clear in these verses but for some reason, peopl ehave been known to misinterpret the words spoken here.

We spoke this morning about how we all should wear modest apparel that follows God's guidelines. Paul was teaching that the focus shouldn't be on ourselves but on Jesus,  ALWAYS!

Paul wrote these letters to Timothy telling him to "be careful about what was going on in his church."

Paul wrote these letters to Timothy to preach on about how women can keep their focus on Jesus and not on themselves.

Women were in charge of paganistic rituals by wearing the adornments of gold, jewels, and braiding their hair with jewels. Women ran those religions that worshipped a "little g" god. But our "big G" God didn't like it. It was an abomination to Him.

The only way to gloryland is through our Lord Jesus Christ. No matter what works you do or how good a person you are. Only Jesus can save you and allow you into the kingdom of Heaven.

Women and men should compliment each other in the househould. The man is responsible for the spiritual well being of the household. When the women need to be fed the gospel, they are suppose to go to their husbands and he is suppose to take her to church. The man is accountable for his family's spiritual well being.

Older ladies in the church should instruct the younger women on how to behave and instruct the younger women about their roles in church.

God made Adam first, because He wanted Adam to be in charge. God made Even to be helpmate to Adam, and Adam is to be accountable for Eve. God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

When we don't talk, our actions speak for us. Paul wrote to Timothy that ladies should be in silence. He didn't mean that women couldn't  speak but to let their testimoney speak for them. God made the man first, then the woman to compliment the man and men are suppose to be complimentary to the women as well.

Even though Eve did wrong, He was able to use her. He makes a way for us all to be used for His glory.
