Christ has done so much for me personally, but I didn't give Him much to work with. I was definetly a marred, broken, vessel. He doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called. No doubt He's called some people throughout history that makes you wonder why.
I want to be like David, in the sense that I want to be a servant after God's own heart.
The Bible teaches and God wants us to know that our lives began before we were born, and He knew us before we were in the womb. He's still working on me (like the song says), He's the potter, I'm the clay.
Everything that's in the word of God is good for us now as it was thousands of years ago for Israel. The Bible is not an old dead book. It's the living, breathing, word of God.
He took an old clump of cells to make each and every one of us and made us different from anyone else. Just like apotter takes an old clump of clay to make his pottery. But we've turned our backs on God more and more in this country. We all need to repent and call on Jesus. Our country has left our first love. We need to get back to putting Jesus first. But our churches have become a social club. Satan has divided this country. We've got to get back to God as a country.
When we point fingers, we don't look at the three fingers pointing back at us.
Marred means to be corrupt or perverse. I was a marred vessel before I came to Jesus. So when I came to Jesus, He made me into s omething new. That's what it means to be saved by Christ. You become a new creature in Christ.
1 Peter 1:23 - This is what happens when we stay in the word of God.
God does so much for us, we don't have to go to a priest, we just need to go to the feet of Jesus, Call on God!!!
We don't have it all figured out, only God has it all figured out. It don't matter what you tell me, it matters what you tell Christ Jesus. A "repeat after me" prayer isn't what saves you, ONLY JESUS CHRIST can save you. Will Jesus know you, when you stand before God in judgement??
