Hebrews 11:8-12 & Genesis 22:1-19

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, step-fathers, and grandfathers who played a role in the lives of your family and raising your kids how they should be raised.

Abraham is the father of us  all, he's the father of many nations.

Hebrews 11:8-12 - tells us about Abraham and how he was called out by God and he obeyed what God told him to do and where God told him to go.

Genesis 11:25

Abraham always had his eyes on God. Father we need to do the same and keep our eyes on Jesus and what He tells us to do. We should, as fathers, train up our children in the wray they should go and they won't depart from that.

Genesis 22:1-19

Abraham & Isaac

Dad's we're the ones responsible to bring Jesus to our households. We're the disciplinarians of the households, and it took me a long time to understand my dad. I'm thankful for everything my daddy did for me.

Dad's what was God telling Abraham to do when He told Abraham to take his son and offer him for a burnt offering? God was testing Abraham and his faith.

God wants you to put Him first. Prove your love for Him. Anything you put in front of God is a little 'g' god.

Abraham didn't question or refuse what God told him to do when He told him to offer Isaac as an offering. He got up early to do was God commanded.

There's something about watching daddy pray for you. Dad's show your children and family how to pray. Thank God for every tiny thing that He's done for you and yoru children will see that and will follow suit.

God will always make provisions. If you will go to God in prayer and lay your burdens down at the feet of Jesus, your burdens will be light.

Dads you might fool all of the people some of the time or some of the people all of the time, but you will never fool God. God always provides the sacrifice.

Because Abraham gave a little faith, God gave a Big reward to Abraham.

Even in our weak moments, God still blesses us.

We all have an opportunity to serve God.
