James 1:1-8
I know He's the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. But if I was Jesus' brother, I'd be telling everyone that I was His brother. But James didn't do that. He said he was a servant of God and of Jesus Christ.
Chapter1 - James was reaching out to the twelve tribes and the world.
Greeting means to rejoice. James said this because he wanted you to rejoice in Jesus Christ.
Divers temptations = various trials
James is saying there is a light at the end of the tunnel of our trials. God wants you to know even when you go through the temptations and trials, we are not alone. Jesus is there with us. Not only Him , but the church as well.
God wants you to learn something when we go through the trials. God wants you to be closer to Him.
