Trusting God in Difficult Times

Habakkuk 1:1-4

Psalms 42:1-3, 7, 10

It's hard to trust in God when we're going through difficult times. But in all ways, God will be honored.

As a christian, we ask, "Why me, Lord?" Don't feel like you're alone, other people are in valleys with you and Jesus is always by your side.

Ways to react to difficult times:

  1. Why me, Lord? Am I being punished?
  2. What can I learn from this?

It's not about your, it's about Jesus.

Do you ever feel like your prayers aren't getting to God? It's not because God turned his back on us but us who turned our backs on HIm. How you get away from God is a three-letter word: SIN.

The more I focus on me and pray less, the further I get away from God.

It's a blessing to hear the word, to come to church, to hear testimony.

1st Commandment is to pur God first.

Even in the days of Habakkuk, there was a moral decline, just as the same as we have now. We need to be reading the correct word of God. We need to preach of the word of God. We need to study the word of God.
