Mark 4:35-41
Seems like everyday there's a storm. Whether it's physical, spiritual, or whatever that hits us. We can overcome those storms through Christ Jesus. Jesus knows how to handle a storm. How can we overcome or weather our storms? We can't. Only Jesus can.
Jesus wanted to test the faith of the multitude that was on the ship. So, He went to sleep in the hinder of the ship. They waited until the absolutely last minute to call on Him. They should have called on Him at the start of the storm. God puts you in a storm, so you can recognize that you are in need of a savior.
It don't matter how many storms you go through but if you get on your knees and call on Jesus, He'll be there in an instant. We don't have to allow the storms to consume our minds or our lives. We have Jesus. When Jesus told the sea, "Peace, be still." that's what He does to the storms in our lives when we call on Him.
We cannot overcome the storms without Jesus. When we have Jesus, we have the best.
Whether you're saved or lost, you have no control over where you will spend eternity.
Storms to recognize that we're in:
1. Political storm - we need to get back to God as a country. The woke agenda - LGBTQ movement is not what Jesus wants us to follow. he wants us to follow Him.
If you're rejecting what I'm preaching, you're rejecting God, not me. even Jesus stood up to governments.
