The God on the mountain is still the God in the valley

1 Kings 20:1-30

God is always in charge. It doesn't matter if you believe or know Him. He's still in charge. The children of Israel didn't always do as God wanted them to but theyw ere His chosen people. What they had to learn and we have to learn is that it's not our way, it's God's way. No matter how we anger Him, He'll never leave us, but it's still His way. Here we see that Ben-hadad, the king of Syria had ever took Israel and was proud of it. The king of Israel, Ahab, basically said, "here ya go, here's my gold, my wives, my children, and everything." God used the bad things to bring you to His glory, such as when jesus went to the cross, and when He said, "It's finished." He didn't say, 'He lost.' He said,  He won the war, He paid it all.

King Ben-hadad told Ahab, that not only was he taking everything he wanted but everything Ahab held dear.

When God says, "Thus sayith the Lord," you better believe it. We turn our back on God many times, we fail Him always. But when we are in our lowliest point in our lives, we turn to God. Even when we don't serve Him properly, God will step in take our, and give us victory in our lives. Why you ask? Because He wants us to know that He's our Lord. That He's our God. When you ask who is going to face the battle? God will tell you, that you are. But God will be there with you.

Ahab's army had God on their side, when they faced Ben-hadad and his army and none of them perished. Because they had God on their side. It doesn't matter what kind of war you're in, or who you're battling, you need to battle on your knees and let God have your back. He will always stand with you.

vrs 23 - They didn't know who they were messing with. They didn't know the God on the mountain is still the God in the valley. It doesn't matter where you are, where you live, where you work, it doesn't matter, God is in charge everywhere you are. we need to listen to our teachers and preachers that teach the word of God. John the baptist taught repent, the kingdom of God is at hand; Jesus taught repent, the kingdom of God is at hand; I teach, repent, the kingdom of God is at hand.

It doesn't matter if you're in the valley or on the hill today, God is our Lord and Savior. We need Him always. No matter where we are. Sometimes it takes those valleys to know we're in a low place in our lives. From my own personal testimony,  I can tell you that whenever I needed something, God has always provided those needs for me. If you don't know Christ today, you'll never know what it's like to have His help in the valley.
