How many times have we asked for something and God not give it to us, just to realize it's not something we should have been given in the first place? Thanks be to God for knowing we didn't need what we asked for.

Romans 8:28 - 31 - "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whome he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he migh be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whome he did predestinate, them he also called:and whome he called, them he also justified: and whome he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?"

It sounds easy to be thankful but how many things do we take credit for? Having fast reflexes, musical talent, saving a life, etc.

1 Thesselonians 5:18-19 - "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit."

How many times has conviction kept you away from bad situations? We need to be thankful for those convictions. We should be more than thankful for what God has put on our path. We should look at the Father and be thankful for the air in our lungs.

Vrs 19 - If your not thankful for the good things and the bad things, you won't know what to be thankful for.

We need to be thankful. If we're not thankful we will quench the holy spirit.

We need to be thankful for the roof over our heads, the shoes on our feet, the food on our table. Be thankful for every day God gives you.

Be thankful for your parents, your children, even your pets.

When you read the old testament, everything in there has a direct correlation to the cross. There's many things we can see in our Bible that's good for us.

Matthew 4:3-4 - "And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made of bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

That means it doesn't matter if it's a dot, a comma, or a hyphen, it matters to our lives. Every thing out of the Bible has come from God.

John 1:1 - "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

He'll bless you for reading the word of God. It's a blessing itself to read the word. There's nothing that we go through that the Bible won't help you with.

When you write your testimony, nobody can refute it when you witness to others.

Whey do we need to witness to others? Because it was commissioned by Jesus to spread the good news message.

Matthew 28:19-20 - "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the nane of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Does it say to just the Jews, or any other sect of people only? No, it says all nations, All people.

Vrs 20 - This is Jesus talking. He wanted us to preach/teach about what we've seen, what we've witnessed.

You won't be alone in this world. When Jesus moved into your heart, when you got saved, He goes with you everywhere you go, good or bad.

If people truly, truly knew what Hell is truly like, thousands upon thousands would be coming in our doors to be saved.

When Jesus established the church, the apostles would go house to house and would tell about what they've seen, about Jesus. They didn't have a Bible, they had word-of-mouth experiences. If you started a Bible study, only 1-2 people needed to start a bible study. Jesus said, "where 2 or three are gathered in my name, there I will also be."

2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

We should be doing something every day to feed our souls. We feed our souls whenw e study our bible. We can do missiog work right here in this town. Al we need is the desire to spread the gospel. What's wrong with handing the Bible to somebody? What's wrong with inviting something to church? There's so many people in our community that we can be spreading the word of God to.
