Count your spiritual blessings

There's A LOT of spiritual blessings.

Ephesians 1:1-3 - "Paul, an apostile of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:"

Vrs 1 - the blessings of God are eternal. Eternal blessings are the blessings God gives to seal us to the day of reckoning. We need to be thankful and thoughtful for all that God does for us. Not only does He give us these blessings but He's gvien us the knowledge to share the blessings with others. There's 'x' amount of time we will be blessed with good health, there's 'x' amount of time we will have a roof over our heads.

You can't buy these spiritual blessings. Theyve been bought by the blood covenant of Jesus Christ. You can look for these blessings in all the wrong places.

Peace - Jesus went to the cross for us to have peace eternal. The Bible said we will have tribulations on earth but the price Christ paid for us is how we will get our Spiritual peace. Everyone is afraid to die, but are you ready to be called home? The peacefullness is if we're absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord, so says the Bible.

John 16:33 - This is Jesus talking, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

We look for satisfying our souls, for a way to give peace to ourselves here on earth, but the only peace cares from Jesus Christ. If you're going through something hard in your life, Jesus is there waiting on you.

You may not be excited to die, but are you ready? I'm ready, I'd prefer to go with the rapture but I have prepared myself to go through death's door. Have you?

There's time and times again that we leave Him, but He never leaves us. He said, when He calls us home, that's where we will find the peace. Jesus said that the peace He has is what He died for. Peace through Jesus is guaranteed.

#2 Eternal Security - We don't think about what it really means. I can't fathom what heaven is like but when God calls me home, I will see amazing grace.

John 10:27-28 - Jesus is talking, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." This is eternal security. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." That's the spiritual blessing God gives.

When the holy spirit moves in when we get saved, there's a transformation, it's like a bomb exploded from the inside out. You no longer care about the outward appearance but find that the inside appearance is what matters.

We have a lot to be thankful for as Christians but if He took everything away we have on earth and left us with the spiritual blessings, we would feel so blessed. Thanks be to Jesus.

Jesus knew before we were even thought of before the heavens and the earth were even formed,  He knew He was going to the cross to die for us. It was preordained. And He loved us that much. We need to be thankful for our eternal gifts.

#3 spiritual gifts - Love is a spiritual gift. We don't know how to love without Jesus. We have feelings but we don't know how to love without Jesus. Thank God for that sin debt being paid. Love is eternal. There's different types of love. It's the level of love that mothers, even Peter denied Jesus 3 times but at that 3rd time, that Peter understood the love.

We don't know love without Jesus in our heart. This is a true love that is unending. We need to be sharing the love that Jesus has for us with others.
