Matthew 24:4-8 - "And Jesus answerd and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows."
This new age movement is taking people to the pits of hell because they're not teaching on sin, consequences, or the saving grace of Jesus. They say Jesus conforms to the image of man but that is wrong. We should conform ourselves to the likness of Jesus. He came off the throne of God and is 100% man and 100% God.
Vrs 4: Jesus said, "Take heed that no man deceive you." The first thing Jesus does is warns you. If it doesn't line up with the Bible, we should call out the one who is preaching. We have to stand firm on the belief of God. Man says, "don't believe everything you read." If those self-help books and other teachings don't line up with the Bible then their teaching the wrong thing. Even today we have cults pulling people into the pits of hell. We need to stand up as Christians. Don't let your children, grandkids, or yourself be confused by the falst Christ. He died for us. He's closer than a friend, closer than your mom or dad. But He ain't your buddy, He's your GOD!
Who do you think makes the stuff up on social media, video games, T.V., all these things that will keep you from going to church and geting fed the word of God? The devil is like a roaring lion seeking who he can devour. Just like he did to Adam and Eve.
1 Peter 5:8 - "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
Do you know how many demonic churches there are today? Thousands, and they are accepted into the mainstream media. People accept the upside-down crosses, but that's not what God wants. The devil will do anything to confuse you, to dilute the word of God. God is the Alpha and Omega.
There's so many preachers who won't say anything about consequences or hell and people are liking and agreeing with them.
There's only one living Christ. He sits on the right hand of God, the Father. he's making intercessions for us. He's not just a prophet, or just a Savior, or just a King. He's THE King!
There's people out there that say they're the annointed son of God and they have thousands of followers. How many people have claimed this and led others to their teachings? Millions.
When Jesus said, "I am God," He was telling the truth.
Vrs. 6 - "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." I bet the amount of time, the world has had world peace is very limited to the amount the world has had wars or rumors of wars. Nobody knows the hour of the end, only God knows.
Vrs 5 - "For many shall come in my name, saying I am Christ; and shall deceive many." That's what I'm talking about. I think Christ is telling us to be ready. He's allowing us a glimpse. That we don't need to be sitting on our behinds. We need to have our bags packed and waiting. I can't imagine what it will be like. What kind of explanation will these pretenders give to their masses when Jesus calls the rest of us home? When millions are gone into the air, what will they tell the ones who were left behind?
Verse 6 says there will be wars and rumors of wars and that's happening today. We think we got it bad now. When the holy spirit ascends to heaven and we go with him, I don't want to see the and that will be left.
Vrs. 7 - "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places." We hear of these today. Knowing that you know, that you know, that Christ Jesus has saved your soul is the only way to go to heaven.
Vrs.8 - "All these are the beginning of sorrows." We think things are bad now but wait until the 7 years tribulations." Famines - People today are starving to death. We think it's bad now, but wait until you see what is to come. Pestilences - great multitudes of locusts and bugs killing the fields of crops. We're the most blessed, by far, country on earth and we spit in His face. It's time for us to be prepared. That's just the beginning. We think we got it bad? Wait till you're left behind folks. Wait until you're left behind.
How do we get prepared? You put Jesus first; Accept Him as your Lord and Savior; Have a relationship with Him; There needs to be evident of change in you.
