Beware of the false prophets

1 John 4:1-6 - "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come: and even now already is it in the world. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in your, that he that is in the world."

Why are there so many religions out there? All the religions brings division. And cause confusion. God doesn't want division or confusion. He wants us to be grounded in His word. God made a plan laid out for use. I don't believe that He wants us as the body of Christ to be confused. He doesn't agree with watered down Bibles or christians. If we don't get back in the real word of God we will live in confusion. I think even the confusion and division keeps people from accepting Christ. People throwing their hands up, shouting, "Who's right?" Christ is right. There's only one way to salvation and that's through the blood of Jesus. You can't buy your way into heaven. It's the same way to heaven now as it was thousands of years ago.

If we talked to people about Jesus, I believe there would be less confusion. I don't believe the Bible teaches Calvinism. It teaches "ALL" to be able to get on our hands and knees and repent so Jesus can reach down and take our hands.

In the Bible it says, Beloved. John uses that word to address fellow christains. Ones who already know Christ. I want you to know that it doesn't matter who it is, you try the word of God, make sure we preach the word of God the way it should be. Believers don't fall for the false prophets. WE can't put those self-help books ahead of the Bible. That's not what God gave us. he gave us an example in the way we should live. We shouldn't get side-tracked by life. The Bible is a guideline, a map on how to live life as a christian. When someone is preaching some funny doctrine on T.V. or YouTube, I can feel the wrongness.

John said, even today there's false prophets teaching the wrong doctrine and you will be confused and put by the way side. Can you imagine how many false prophets we have today? If they get away from the blood of Jesus, turn the channel or turn the mess off and get back to your Bible. There's not shortcut to salvation. You can't just write a check to pay for your sin. God wants you to repent your sin and then walk away from that sin. That's the way to Christ. Too many people are paying attention to the world and what it's saying. We need to get back to the basics and back to the Bible.

What Would Jesus Do? We need to be more like Jesus. Does it line up with scripture? That's what you need to ask yourself when you hear someone preaching in the world. Read your Bible, not just a verse or two. But each chapter, each book. When the holy spirit lives in you, the holy spirit will tell you when something is fishy.

The Holy Spirit don't like sin. Sin is natural to us all but the holy spirit wants to drive the sin a way. Are we doing what we're suppose to do? Search the word if you have questions. Don't be ashamed to be a conservative christian. False prophets are everywhere, but this ain't new to Jesus.  Don't ever deny Christ's existence. He said, "Deny me and I'll deny you to my father." Stand up for Christ. Acceptance is not a dirty word. Stand up for Christ.

To know the holy spirit is salvation. Confesseth means to fall along and agree with the doctrine of Jesus Christ. Jesus is as much God today as He was 2, 000 years ago. Jesus is God in the flesh. Jesus said he would pay the sin debt of us all. I was an old sin sick sinner but was saved by His grace. God is not the author of confusion. If you're reaching out to someone about Jesus, don't make it confusing to them.

Do you have Jesus in your heart? That's an easy way to get them to acknowledge Jesus.

1 Corinthians 14:33 - "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints." Think about that. he doesn't want confusion in our lives. If it's a church of the saints, God will be there. Don't go to a church where God is not in attendance. Go to a church where Jesus is put first. Not because there's a rock band on the stage.

Confession of flesh means to agree wthat He is Christ. If the doctrine that your being taught doesn't line up with the Bible, then that's not a different version, it's the WRONG version. Jesus was a prophet, a great man, but those false prophets will fall short of saying that He is God. Jesus said He's the only way.

John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus confessed it, prophesized it, that He is God. If you're not sure that you know, that you know, that you know, that Jesus is God, then come confess your sins and find Him here.
