God has a path for you

Proverbs 3:5-6 - "trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

God has got something in store for you. You may not think so, but I'm telling you by the scripture, God ha a path that He wants you to follow, a plan. You may not think so. You may think your too old but that's not true. God used Moses and Noah in their older years. God ha a solution for your problems, but you have to want to be used. God has a work for you, it may be big or small, complicated or simple, but that's your path.

The first step is to "trust in the LORD with all thine heart." God didn't just throw you together, He designs us perfectly to serve Him. God knew us while we were in the womb. God knows what will happen in your life. He knew before He created the heavens and earth that He was going to have to send His son to die for us. so we could find our way back to Him.

God didn't react to the way you are, He is proactive. he knew what you were going to go through and He knew what you were going to do at the end. Everything He's done for us is to prepare us to return back to Him. He knew we would have inconsistancies in our lives but He wants us anyways. He's all knowing. He gave us a spiritual blessing when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

He doesn't need us, but He wants us. He loves us so much that He gave His son to die for us. God gave us free will, He doesn't make us serve Him. The things the world offers, won't fill the hole in your hearts. Only God can do that. Jonah was told to go to Ninevah to preach against all the things they were doing wrong. To preach Jesus. Jonah didn't want the Ninovites to turn to God. So he bought passage on a ship that was going in the other direction. As he got on the ship, the sea became terrible. The sailors knew who was responsible, so they threw him overboard. He was swallowed by a big fish. Jonah called on God on his knees. When God allowed the fish to spit him out, Jonah obeyed God's command and began to preach about Jesus. All the things the world has to offer is short term. Did you know Moses didn't want to obey God? He kept saying ' he couldn't speak to crowds' so God said 'that's ok' and He made Aaron speak for Moses.

God puts you on your path, but it's up to us to stay on it. I wasn't that smart. I wanted to try what the world had to offer. God will make preparations so that we will serve Him. If you're running from the purpose that God has for you,  God will make you come back to that purpose. God prepares us for the future and our growth in Him. We have to trust in God, and follow Him.

God will hear your prayers but you've got to be open to listen to Him speak back to you. Jonah was put in the belly of a fish, I was put flat on my back before I called on God and accepted His will. God has a plan, that He's mapped out for all of us that He wants us to do. He knows we will slip from His path, but He knows we will find Him again and His grace.

Proverbs 16:9 - "A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps."

We can make plans for our days, weeks, years, etc., but God wants us to make the eternity plan. If you want to make God laugh, just tell Him your plans. If your only plans are for only what's here on earth, then you're missing out on something great.

We can plan all we want but God makes the path.

Have you made plans with God?
