Jesus teaches

John 7:53 -  "And every man witn unto hi sown house."

John 8:1-11 - "Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him,  that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stoopped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none bu the womans, he said unto her, Woman, wehre are those thing accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn  thee: go, and sin no more."

First let me say there was no doubt of the sin she committed, but it's the way that it was handled and brought to Him that upset Him. I wish I could know what He had wrote on the grount. But Jesus told her that He didn't condemn her and to go and sin no more. He tells all, teaches, that He is the only way to glory.

The law of Moses says she should die by stoning. I want you to really listen. There was an accuser that said Kyle was unworthy, that Kyle was a sinner, that Kyle should die. But Jesus said something else.

The way the people should have handled that woman was to do it in private instead, they made a mockery of her. But Jesus told those who were codemning her, that they were unworthy too. Jesus came to save the world from sin and death.

It's not up to me and you to say who lives or dies. We're not suppose to judge people. We're suppose to introduce them to Jesus, the only one worthy enough to pass judgement.

God wants us to preach the gospel to everyone.

Jesus didn't condemn her like the accusers wanted, instead He made them look at themselves saying those of you without sin, cast the first stone.

The church is the bride of Christ. If you put anything above Jesus , we're committing adultery through idolatry with another god before Jesus. We don't need to be like the Pharisees and the scribes, with pointing fingers and mocking others.

How many of us are murderers, or adulterers, because we don't put Jesus first?

Before I met jesus, I was lost and dying and going to hell. But Jesus has always been faithful and true in His intercessions for me. Repentence is not just confessing the sing, it's confessing and turning your back on the sin and walking away.

The woman stood before the living God and was not condemned by Jesus but was forgiven and set free. We can't condemn people, we're suppose to pray for them. Instead of condemning someone, we need to be telling others what Jesus did for us.

  • Jesus never denied the guilt or the presence of the woman, and He won't deny ours.

You know to know you're lost before you can be saved. Salvation only comes through Jesus. If we used Jesus as the example of what we should be like, look at what our relationship would be like.

We use so many things to fill the hole in our hearts: booze, drugs, etc., But we need Jesus to fill the hole.

Do you realize that every single day, we are closer to the judgement day? For some of use, it's going to be a happy reunion day. But for some of us, we are going to stand before Him not knowing the outcome. I'm not much of a gambler, I like a sure thing. Are you willing to gamble with where you end up for eternity? Find Jesus and build your relationship with Him.

If you don't know, that you know, that you know, what your eternity will be like then I implore you to find Jesus and let Him into your heart.
