Father's Day

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 - For ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and i will be their God, and they shall be my people."

Don't let any idol (hunting, fishing, shopping, etc.) block your focus from God.  It's hard to let God walk with you if you are not back where you need to be with Jesus. God wants our commitment.

As fathers, you should commit to your kids; they are watching you. Your son sees how you work and wants to be like you,  your daughter sees how you treat her mother, if you treat her mother right, she will find a man who will treat her the same way.  Fathers commit to train your kids up in the way they should go. Train your children correctly, God said, "spare the rod, spoil the child." Train them to know God.

God wants us shouting from the rooftops that He's our Father.

Stay away from sin, spiritually. Stay away from the world. It's okay to say no to the world. It's okay to be right with Jesus. Church fellowship, prayer, and reading your Bible will keep you right with God.

God wants you to walk with Him. He wants you to be in step with Him.

Dads, when your struggles get to be too much, He will carry you. God will never leave you nor forsake you.
